Must-see places in Jelenia Góra include the tastefully restored and considerably rebuilt market square with the classical town hall in the middle, arcades housing a range of shops and cafes, the Holy Cross Church with one of the biggest organs in Silesia and a pulpit sculpted in stone and the Orthodox Church of St. Peter and St. Paul; the interior holds two medieval penitential crosses with the weapons which were used by murderers to commit the crime: a sword and a crossbow.
